Personal Project — Faces (Part 1)

The human face isn’t just the central organ for sense, but it is the conduit through which we express emotion. It is one of our primary means of identification. Each one different and unique, especially in the way that it catches and reflects light.

This is what I am setting out to capture in this project, which I’ve talked about earlier here. Below is a sampling of my selections from the first few subjects that I’ve shot.

    1. Thank you. Although I strive to portray the subject for the way she is (or as I perceive her), as a photographer I lean more towards capturing them in a quiet moment. It makes for a more timeless picture, I believe.
