I once thought that street photography necessitated the presence of… well, a street. I’m glad that my definition has since then expanded to capturing the human condition in a public place.
The picture above is that of a scene inside a mall, which in many ways draws a parallel to an actual city. Here the “streets” may have no name (to borrow loosely from U2), but there are shops and characters that fill its thoroughfares and byways.
