Renee – Snow (Part 2)

*I wrote about the premise for this series here. My take on the classical version of Snow White can be viewed here

In this re-imagining of Snow White, Renee is portraying her as a woman who didn’t take the poison of having to stay at home and tend to it just because she is a woman. One who didn’t fall for the trap of believing that she isn’t ‘strong’ enough to do men’s work. And a woman whose general view of apples is that they’re good as a snack and for possibly keeping the doctor away.

As is the central theme of this series, there is no damsel in distress. A woman shouldn’t have to wait for her knight in shining armor as he is probably taking too much time polishing his suit.
