Entering Space

I have been going on photo walks around the university grounds recently. An exercise that spurs me to flex not only the creative, but my actual muscles as well. I have taken the Fujifilm X-E1 on these sojourns and the size and weight of the camera does not only spare me the sore shoulder at the end of the day, but it allows me to get into public spaces and shoot pictures without ‘scaring’ people away. Although cameras are quite ubiquitous, nothing puts people on guard more than the sight of a DSLR with a long lens with a humongous hood attached. The X-E1 is not only less intimidating, but it’s relatively silent and unobtrusive as well. This camera is definitely a keeper. More to come…
